LEEK Regional Centerfire 2027 #1 COSTUME FUN PRO-AM MATCH!

EVENT DETAILS

This will be a crazy fun match, perfect for bringing your aspiring youth (8+) for lots of fun without the pressure!
- Costumes are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! There will be awards for the best costumes in several categories! Make sure you can move and shoot in your costume!
- Targets will all be orange. Don't mistake those pumpkins out there with your steel targets! Whoops!!
- Did someone say "Tannerite"?! Yes, there will be some big booms on a couple no-score stages, just for fun and video memories!
- All youth and amateurs must be able to safely heft and handle their rifle. Amateur, for this match, means the competitor has shot no more than 2 PRS/NRL style (including rimfire) matches. Bring as many youth or amateurs as you want (register each one). We will pair all youth/am's with an experienced shooter.
- Squads will be half pros (experienced), and half am's/youth. The pros will all shoot the stage first, then the am's/youth will shoot, with their pro right there to talk them through the stage and give as much assistance as necessary. Because of the assistance, none of the am's/youth scores will be submitted to PRS, but there will be medals and prizes for them.
- On Tannerite stages, the Pro will act as the "spotter" and the youth/am will be the "sniper". Find the explosive target, range it, and engage it! BOOM!

This will be a 1 day PRS Centerfire match with 8 scored stages between 300 and 780 yards, and 2 un-scored explosive stages. It will be a ~86 round course of fire with 120/150 second par times. Bring extra rounds for the zero range!

We reduced to 8 scored stages so you can have all the fun, but get home in time to trick-or-treat, maybe in the same costume!

The match book will be uploaded when complete.

We will be using a self-RO method meaning that members of your squad will take turns calling shots and keeping score. We have several roaming Range Safety Officers trained and ready to help keep our event running safe and smooth.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE, your maps app may try to take you into a driveway and up a hill to the event center. Look across the street (red barn), and the parking lot entrance is between the fence posts, and should be marked with cones or similar markers.
