Welcome to the Kamloops Windwalker - BC's first PRS Rimfire Qualifier Match! KTSA is one of BC's premiere shooting venues and this match is sure to offer shooters a day of challenging and dynamic precision rifle shooting.

We are aiming to have one dedicated (paid!) RO per squad at this match, as well, elevating the experience for competitors and allowing them to focus on shooting rather than managing the squad. If you would like to RO for this match, please email the MD Bryson Dodwell at [email protected].

This match will henceforth be known as the "0.75 mil match" - every target at every distance will be 0.75mil (2.5MOA), or the stage average will be 0.75 mil across all the shots taken on that stage (ex. half the targets are .65 and half the targets are .85). This should hopefully provide a fair balance of fun for newer shooters and challenge for more experienced shooters.

While we like to keep things varied and include all shooting positions in our stage designs, expect to get your positional shooting game on at this match. There will be lots of movement so you are going to need to make every second count. Absolutely no "Set up one prone position and smash your way out a full troop line".

We will do our best to get the course of fire out to shooters more than a couple days in advance, but no claims of its accuracy will be made until the course of fire is reviewed with all of the shooters during the safety brief on the morning of the match.

This is a RIMFIRE (more specifically 22LR and air rifles only) rifle match designed for competitors shooting non-magnum, rimfire cartridges. This match will be run as a sanctioned, PRS Rimfire match, that will focus on having shooters shoot off of improvised positions, barricades, tripods, prone and anything else that the modern marksman should be able to do.

PRS membership is not required to shoot this match, however, to have your score counted to a national leaderboard, you will require one. PRS Memberships can be found here [https://www.precisionrifleseries.com/memberships] with the rimfire membership only being $20 USD for the season! If you would like to assist with setup, I will be at the range approximately 0730-0800 and we'll get targets sorted out, any and all help will make the day flow quicker!
