2017 Bolt Gun Series Production Membership

Production Division is meant to provide anyone an opportunity to shoot in a PRS event that wishes to do so that would otherwise not compete due to lack of equipment. The Division is not meant to be gamed by experienced shooters looking to win a trophy by sandbagging.

Production Division rifles are not permitted to be altered or improved in any way from the original factory configuration.

Production Division combined rifle and scope MSRP as listed on the company’s website shall not exceed $3,000 USD, the rifle shall not exceed $2,000 USD and the optic not exceed $2,000 USD.

Appendix A-4 of the PRS Rules and Standard Operating Procedures provides a list of rifles permitted in the Production Division.

Optics must have a way in which a competitor can safely engage long-range targets. This may be a hold-over reticle or adjustable turrets. MD’s and RO’s reserve the right to disqualify a shooter if the shooter’s rounds are impacting in unsafe areas due to the inability to hold-over properly.

All Production Division competitions shall be one day matches.

In an effort to prevent exorbitant costs for beginning shooters, Production Division round count will not exceed 80 rounds.

Shooters who qualify for the PRS Championship via the Points Race or a designated qualifier match will be competing for cash and sponsor prizes, order of finish will determine prize table order. Separate cash awards will be given to the top 3 PRS Points leaders in the Production Division.
