Next SoTex match at the Dancing Elk Ranch near Mathis, TX on Sunday August 19th.

730am Sign in and brief...the plan is for everyone to enter the FRONT GATE ON HIGHWAY 37...this isn't the actual address to DEA, but it isn't hard to find...there is a huge light up billboard sign right beside the highway

800am Start

SHOW UP WITH RIFLE ZERO'D PLEASE

$50 to shoot...pay cash the day of the shoot, bring correct change if possible, as there is no bank on site, gracias

***There will also be the option of purchasing a stage mulligan for $10 prior to the match start, max of 1 per shooter...if you mess up a stage and want to reshoot, use your mulligan. YOU WILL KEEP THE SCORE OF YOUR MULLIGAN RUN. Nonrefundable so use it or lose it. No mulligan allowed on a blind stage as that defeats the purpose of a blind stage.

Squads will be provided with stage descriptions and layout.

TOTAL ROUND COUNT will be 88 rounds (plus mulligan, if purchased so bring extra if you plan on a mulligan)

12 ROUNDS OF PISTOL

.30 cal magnums and below, 3200 fps speed limit

NOTE: Shooter will travel about the range MAG OUT/INTERNAL BOX UNLOADED and BOLT BACK. ALL STAGES WILL START port arms, mag inserted/box loaded, bolt back. On any movement between positions, shooter will leave the bolt back until in position AND sights are on target.

Match will be similar to prior matches. Targets from 300-1000 yards from field positions. Stages will be timed (approximately 2 minutes each) and consist of 8-12 rounds each.
